Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and Kadans (“we”) for using the Kadans apps and service. By creating an account or using Kadans, you accept them. Questions: support@kadansplanning.com.

The service

Kadans helps you plan your tasks, focus with Pomodoro cycles and keep a personal budget, on your phone and your computer, with one account. We may improve it, change it, and add or remove features over time.

Your account

• Use a real email address you can read: we send what your account needs there.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• An account is for one person.

Price and subscription

• The computer app is free.
• The phone app is free to download and needs a subscription: USD 0.99 a month, or the price Google Play shows in your country, after a 14-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Google Play bills it to your Google account. It renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Google Play, and you keep Kadans until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds follow Google Play's rules.
• If the price changes, you are told beforehand, as Google Play requires, and you can cancel.
• When your Kadans account is erased, a Google Play subscription that still renews is cancelled. To stop it sooner, cancel it in Google Play.

What you put in Kadans

Your tasks, notes and budget are yours. You let us keep and process them only to run Kadans for you, as the privacy policy describes.

Fair use

Do not use Kadans to break the law, to harm others, or to attack, overload or get around the protections of the service. We may suspend or close an account that does.

Reminders and the budget

• We work to make every reminder ring on time, but it depends on your device, its settings and its connection. Do not rely on Kadans alone for anything where a missed reminder could cause harm, such as taking medicine.
• The budget is a record you keep for yourself. It is not financial advice, and its exchange rates are the ones you enter.

Availability and responsibility

We do our best to keep Kadans running and your data safe, but the service is provided as it is, without a promise that it will never be interrupted or never fail. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid for Kadans in the 12 months before the problem.

Ending

You can stop using Kadans and delete your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and tell you why when we can. If we ever stop the service, we will tell you beforehand.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we update this page and its date. For an important change, we tell you in the app or by email first. Using Kadans after a change means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Haiti, without taking away any protection the law of your own country gives you.
